Just a quick reminder that our next meeting on the 14th will be our annual AGM meeting
We all look forward to seeing you there,
Hi all, just to remind you that our Branch Rally takes place this Sunday,
If you are attending in a vehicle please aim to be on site before or around 10AM, so that we have plenty of time to park the vehicles before the event begins.
Thankyou all and i look forward to seeing you there.

I hope you all had a great time yesterday, i know i did :)
For those that were unable to attend here's what happened,
We met at The Rushley Pub at 11am and lined all the cars up ready for the steady drive to the Ice Cream Parlour at Hockerton,
We then set off with the sun shining on our bonnets and to the soundtrack of the A-series burble, the adventure has begun,
The traffic was nice and steady on the drive down which was a good job when the hills came and the smell of 20w50 engine oil filled the road, however this gave way to some beautiful countryside with lots of pedestrians and cyclists waving and smiling as we drove by.
We then arrived at the Ice Cream Parlour for Coffee and some Delicious Ice Cream whilst the other visitors and locals admired the cars.
We then took a steady scenic drive back to The Rushley for a Sunday Roast and some general chatter about the day.
If you'd like to view any of the other photographs from the event i will be putting them on MADMOG's facebook page,
Unfortunately, despite efforts to arrange for members cars to join the Collection in Mansfield Market Square (see previous post), we have had to cancel this opportunity due to lack of support.
The Marie Curie Collection will go ahead without the previously planned display of cars. As a branch we hope to be able to support this worthy charity with a collection at our Monks and Minors Rally in July and also the Charity car run that is planned for September.
As you may know, Marie Curie is our chosen charity for 2016.
Their annual daffodil collection is taking place on Easter Saturday.
They have requested branch members to bring their Morris minor and park in a display outside Mansfield town hall in the market square.
This is your opportunity to have your car photographed in the Market Square and also help with the fundraising.
Cars are required between 11am and 2pm. Spaces are limited to 6 cars.
If you would like to be involved please contact Paul Temple as soon as possible or speak at the next branch meeting.
We are delighted to announce that the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance will be visiting us for our March Club Night. The Charity will be giving us a 30 minute glimpse into their interesting and life saving work. The talk will be concluded with the presentation of a Giant cheque representing the Madmog donation as chosen charity for 2015.
Our meeting to be held on Tuesday 9th February will be our AGM. We will be offering for re-election you committee and updating you on club events and news for the coming year. If you wish to have something added to the agenda please contact me no later than Friday 5th February to ensure there is time to prepare.
Those of you that have been to previous AGM's will know we keep to a strict time limit and still manage to have a fun evening. There will be a light finger buffet after the AGM and we will conclude the evening with our Annual Pancake Tossing Competition seeing as it is Shrove Tuesday after all!
See you there.
